The Chicago Headline Club presented the winners of its 2013 Lisagor Awards at its annual awards dinner on May 3, 2014, before more than 350 people at the Union League Club of Chicago. The awards recognize the best of Chicago journalism and are named for Peter Lisagor, the Chicago Daily News’ Washington bureau chief from 1959 to 1976.
Daniel Andries, WTTW Channel 11, won in the category of Specialty/Arts/Culture/Entertainment News-Feature or Series for his involvement with the 2013 Richard H. Driehaus Prize documentary “The Invisible Hand: Architect Thomas Beeby.”
