Licensure Information
The B.Arch and M.Arch (2-year and 3-year) programs in the School of Architecture fulfill the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards’ (NCARB) educational requirement for licensure as an architect in the United States. Additionally, licensure requires passing a series of exams and the accumulation and documentation of a variety of internship and experience hours through the Architectural Experience Program (AXP) program.
International students who have a previous degree in architecture from an institution outside the U.S. and/or are licensed in another country may wish to consult NCARB for verification of their path to licensure.
