Congratulations to Professor Aimee Buccellato on being recognized with a Citation Award from AIA Indiana for the Morrison Family Education & Outreach Pavilion.  The pavilion is the first structure to be constructed at the University's near-site research facility, the Notre Dame Linked Experimental Ecosystem Facility (ND-LEEF) at St. Patrick's County Park.

The AIA Jury had this to say about the pavilion: "The jury was impressed with every detail and choice made in the design of this structure. The decision to orient the building along the summer solstice, and to situate it with its back to the approach, a simple swath of mown meadow, was poetic."

Professor Buccellato would like to extend recognition of the project to ND LEEF leadership, Dr. David Lodge, Dr. Jennifer Tank, and Assistant Facility Director, Brett Peters, and the University Architect's Office and both Doug Marsh and Tony Polotto for their support for the project.
