Hanahan building quite a legacy

Michael J. Hanahan, '86, a partner in the law firm Schiff Hardin LLP’s Construction group, has been inducted into the Society of Illinois Construction Attorneys (SOICA). Membership in the society is by invitation only, and Hanahan is one of only three inductees for 2010.

Hanahan's practice includes advising architects, engineers, owners, and contractors in both litigation and commercial matters. Hanahan, a frequent writer and speaker on construction law topics, has prosecuted and defended numerous claims in arbitrations, mediations, and client negotiations, and assists with preparation and negotiations of construction and design professional contracts.
