The School of Architecture celebrated 2019 commencement on May 19, 2019 - the first commencement ceremony since moving into the new Matthew and Joyce Walsh Family Hall of Architecture. Alumnus and President of the American Association of Architecture, William J. Bates, FAIA ‘75, delivered a speech praising students for their hard work and sending well wishes for their next chapters. His speech was preceded by speeches from Roger Foreman, graduate valedictorian, and Luke Palmer, undergraduate valedictorian, as well as an invocation from undergraduate salutatorian, Elena Ezzo.
