How can design thinking be used to tackle some of our communities' biggest challenges—attainable housing, climate change, gentrification, ineffective and racist zoning, and public health? Karen and Dan Parolek will share how they and the Opticos team have utilized design thinking to tackle these issues, developed innovative solutions and helped establish new best practices in planning, zoning, housing design and policy, and impact-driven business models, including starting a national movement for housing reform through Missing Middle Housing.
