Acroterion is a yearly publication produced by the School of Architecture that demonstrates the best of refinement and design.

The 2006-2007 issue focused on stewardship—our sense of responsibility for taking care of something that is not our own, for the betterment of each other and posterity. Stewardship, for the natural and built environments and the obligation of passing healthy ecosystems to future generations, has long been a commitment of the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture. With this issue, the student projects illustrate how stewardship is an ethic at Notre Dame that embodies cooperative planning and management of environmental resources. The projects also focused on the design of buildings and communities to prevent the loss of habitat, facilitate its recovery and improve quality of life in the interest of long-term sustainability.

Acroterion is available for purchase on the Architecture Store.
