This July, S. Cresci church in Tuscany had the inauguration and blessing of the new fresco painted by Professor David Mayernik. The below quote is from an article in il galletto, the local newspaper of the Mugello.
"Monochromatic, in tones of brick red, the frescoes are realized with great mastery and stand out from the wall, but not violently, creating a suggestive and timeless effect. In particular the four martyrs [the recent fresco] are represented without reference to a particular period, almost to confirm that their figures relate not to any time in particular, but across time.”
