Jonathan Kelly's thesis explores redevelopment as a solution to an abandoned offshore drilling platform off the southern California coastline. The structure was redeveloped as boutique hotel, offering one-of-a-kind 360-degree views of the coastline and ocean, and at the same time working within sustainable means to generate electricity from solar, wind and ocean tidal systems.
