Career Center & Resources

The School of Architecture reaches out to professionals, community leaders and alumni through a variety of programs, which also give our students valuable practical experience. An annual Career Fair allows students to interact with prospective employers. Our alumni network and Notre Dame Career Services help graduates pursue professional opportunities.

Brian Droste, B.Arch ’10, developed a list of resources for students to help them navigate the practical requirements to become licensed professionals, including how to sign up for the Architect Registration Examination (ARE), compensation reports and employment resources.

Additionally, the Architecture Library has created a recommended list of periodicals, articles, and guides to assist students with preparing a resume, designing a portfolio, researching salaries, and so on. In preparation for the Career Fair each spring, the School hosts resume and portfolio workshops.
