Important Dates for the 2014-2015 School Year

  • August 20 & 21 - Orientation for new international students, undergraduate readmitted, transfer students and new graduate students.
  • August 22 - Undergraduate halls open for first year student move-in beginning at 9:00 am
  • August 23 & 24 - Orientation and advising for freshmen at Notre Dame
  • August 24 - Undergraduate halls open for upperclassman move-in begins at 9:00 am
  • August 26 - Mass, formal opening of school year at Notre Dame
  • August 26 - Classes begin
  • September 1 - Labor Day, classes are in session
  • September 2 - Last date for all class changes
  • October 18-26 - Mid-semester break
  • November 17 - December 3 - Registration for the Spring 2015 semester
  • November 26-30 - Thanksgiving holiday
  • December 11 - Last class day
  • December 15-19 - Final examinations
  • December 20 - Undergraduate halls close at 2:00 pm
